FixxyApp started with a simple observation: communities are full of trusted people offering great services, with no easy way to find them. So we built one — with zero commission, because that part mattered from day one.
Dennis Mataia and Sebastian Castillo met at church — Dennis originally from Samoa, Sebastian from Chile. Dennis brought Sebastian an idea for a local services marketplace. Sebastian had built something similar himself fifteen years earlier, and knew right away it was worth doing properly this time.
They kept seeing the same pattern in their own community: phone numbers passed hand to hand, friends quietly offering plumbing, cleaning, tutoring, rides — side jobs slowly turning into real, small businesses. There was no single place to find any of them.
So they built one — and decided from day one it would charge pros zero commission. Not an intro rate. Not year one only. Zero, always. That's the part that mattered most.
FixxyApp launched in Hawaii, where it's now used by a growing community of neighbors finding — and becoming — trusted local pros.

Dennis brought the original idea for FixxyApp and has been driving the vision ever since.

Sebastian had built something similar himself years earlier — when Dennis brought him the idea, he knew it was time to finally get it right.

We never take a cut of what our pros earn — not an intro rate, not a limited-time deal.
FixxyApp started because two friends saw the gap firsthand — not as a boardroom idea.
ID verification and escrow-protected payments keep everyone safe, on both sides.
Our team spans the U.S., Chile, and Ireland — built to grow far beyond one island.
